英国南安普顿大学地理信息系统专业，南安普顿大学，英国常青藤大学之一，红砖大学，罗素大学集团成员之一，世界百强名校。源于1862年成立的哈特力学院，1902年成为伦敦大学下属的一个学院，1952年该校正式获得英国皇家授权，晋升综合性大学。
在Geography学院中开设了三个相关专业，包括MSc Geographical Information Systems，MSc Geo–information Science and Earth Observation，MSc Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis。
MSc Geographical Information Systems为Online课程，不适合中国学生申请。
MSc Geo–information Science and Earth Observation，学习时间较长，为18个月。这个项目由南安普顿大学与瑞典的Lund大学、波兰的Warsaw大学及其它欧盟国家的大学联合开发，可以提供奖学金。但是对于入学要求较高，最好有相关的工作经验，
MSc Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis，12个月的学习时间，课程包括Computer vision; GIS for analysis of health; GIS for environmental management; GIS for health care management; Global ocean monitoring; Introductory GIS; Introductory remote sensing of the oceans; Remote sensing for earth observation; Remote sensing of the terrestrial environment; Spacecraft engineering; 3D remote sensing等。
申请者须具有相关的专业背景，雅思6.5分，招生人数为10名。
