弗吉尼亚理工学院昆虫学系招聘一名昆虫学方向交流访问学者、助理教授，交流访问时间12个月。要求熟悉媒介生物学、昆虫毒理学等相关研究并对昆虫学方向研究感兴趣。
Virginia Tech seeks applications and nominations for the position of Professor and Head of the Department of Entomology, a tenured twelve-month academic and administrative appointment.
The Department has well-recognized programs in research, extension and education. Faculty research and teaching interests encompass vector biology, vector-borne diseases, insect toxicology, biological control, and pest management in forest, agronomic, horticultural and urban systems. Extension and outreach programs target commodity groups, regulatory agencies, industry and the public. Review of applications will begin on April 15, 2015 and will continue until the position is filled.

弗吉尼亚理工学院暨州立大学(英文Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University，缩写为Virginia Tech或VT)，中文简称弗吉尼亚理工大学，位于美国弗吉尼亚州西南部的黑堡镇，是一所以工科为主的综合性公立大学。于1872年创建。根据卡内基教育基金会于2005年公布的大学分类，弗吉尼亚理工大学被归类为特高研究型大学(very high research activity)。在美国4,383所高等学府中，只有96所获得此项分类。
弗吉尼亚工学院位于弗吉尼亚州西南部的布莱克斯堡，距美国首都华盛顿西南约390公里，弗吉尼亚理工大学建于1872年，已有135年历史。是弗吉尼亚州最大的大学，由8所学院和研究生院组成，大学设有71个学士学位教学计划、150个硕士和博士学位教学计划。
