UT-Austin大学公共事务学院(Lyndon B.Johnson School of Public Affair，缩写LBJ)成立于1965年，现有硕士研究生350多人，博士研究生30多人，国际学生众多。公共事务学院开设有以下四种学位项目：
公共事务硕士(Master of Public Affairs,M.Paff)
全球政策研究硕士(Master of Global Policy Studies,MGPS)
公共政策博士(Ph.D. in Public Policy)
Executive Master in Public Leadership (EMPL)
其中EMPL项目针对的各领域在职人士，并非常规的学术课程，公共政策博士则要求学生必需具有硕士或其同等以上学历，其余应届本科毕业生均可申请。该学员各项目均要求有GRE、TOEFL成绩，具体申请条件如下：
TOEFL：总分100分以上，单项口语不低于26分;不接受IELTS成绩
GRE：必需有GRE成绩，无最低分数要求
GPA：不低于3.0
注：公共事务硕士项目还包含有一个针对职业中期人士(Mid-Career Program)的项目，该项目春季、秋季均可申请，春季申请截止日期为10月1日，秋季申请截止日期为1月5日。
